Shimon Rothschld is a part time PhD student with more than thirty years software development experience. He studies cyber security and computer system vulnerabilities. His dissertation focuses on better integrating cyber defense strategies throughout the supply chain. Existing strategies place most emphasis on the individual organization, and do nothing to strengthen the supply chain. His dissertation proposal is threat identification and mitigation strategy discussions throughout the supply chain.

Shimon is a developer, designer and a trainer in many phases of the development cycle. He has a range of software development experience, software game development, ERP software design and implementation, and mobile application development. In the past he has trained organizations on writing better use cases, software testing, software architecture and designing for a better user experience. He has written applications throughout his career that have been distributed in the world. As a hobby, he would like to spend more time developing a multi-player mobile device game. The user expectations are rising at a faster pace than he can maintain.
